I have a half done knitted blanket I don’t plan to finish. This one:

Well, I loved it, but I made a vital mistake - I ordered too little yarn. And I bet you can guess what happens if you order too little yarn… yep…. they discontinued it.

I played with the thought of continuing with some other color, but I don’t think I would use it. It’s not perfect and it would stand in my way…

So what to do with the strip of knitted garment? Pillows of course 🙂 And I’m so happy how they turned out.

Knitted pillows

Here’s what I did.

I prepared the garment by threading two strips of yarn through stitches (in case one of those try to slip away)

Now I started to cut (yes, I had a face like I was doing a brain surgery - and I felt like it too)

Finally I crocheted cut edges and formed pillows

Done!

Now this was a day well spent 🙂
