Remember, last Friday, I posted a knitting pattern from 1990? Well, this pattern is from this pattern sheet also.
Very easy, quite interesting and I think it would be nice replacement for ordinary ribbing.
I still don’t love the yarn color.
Just so you know – I used DROPS Alpaca which is very soft, warm and very pleasant for lace shawls. But the color – color code is 2923, name was gold I think… Its actually fantastic when sun is shining on it, but now, with clouds and stuff, … oh I don’t like it (but I have to use it – otherwise it’ll just sit in my stash) …
On with the pattern.
Pattern repeat is 9 + 2.
Row 1: (p2, YO, ssk, p3, k2tog, YO) rep to last 2 sts, p2;
Row 2: k2, (p2, k3, p2, k2) rep to end;
Row 3: (p2, k7) rep to last 2 sts, p2;
Row 4: k2, (p7, k2) rep to end;
What size needle did you use and what is the gauge? I want to make a dish cloth.
I used 3,5 mm needles. Do a swatch first and then you can decide how many stitches and pattern repeats you will need.
