I promised you a pattern and here it is. I wanted to knit these baby socks from pink yarn, but I didn’t have any. So off-white it is.
It’s already late, so I’m not gonna make a big talk here. Socks are for 1 to 3 months old baby and should be knee-length. Hopefully π (and yes – I need better pictures)
BABY KNEE-HIGH SOCKS βISLAND WAVESβ
YOUβLL NEED:
β’ 25 g (9 oz) of finer sockyarn β I used DROPS Fabel
β’ doublepointed needles or circular needles size 2 mm / US 0
MEASUREMENTS:
Socks are meant for 1 to 3 months old baby. Length of the cuff is aprox. 10 cm / 4inches. Circumference of the leg is 15 cm / 6 inches. Length of the foot is 10 cm / 4 inches.
GAUGE:
10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) = 27 stitches x 47 rounds;
ABBREVIATIONS:
- k β knit;
- p β purl;
- YO β yarn over;
- k2tog β knit 2 together;
- ssk β slip, slip, knit together;
- sl st kw β slip stitch knit wise;
- sl st pw β knit stitch purl wise;
- p2tog β purl 2 together;
- rep β repeat;
BEGINNING OF THE CUFF:
Cast on 44 stitches. Place marker in the beginning of round.
Rounds 1 to 5: knit;

I wish I could knit those for my grandson but he has out grown that size. He turned 1 year old in Feb.
I’m planning to add other sizes too up to 2 years, also new pictures – it was so late yesterday. I already counted the stitches and I just need to add those here – maybe on a weekend (I hope) π
