I have a quick tutorial for you today. I will show you how to cast off Estonian lace shawl using knitted cast off method (also known as Estonian bind off). This is my most favorite and used bind off method for other projects too.

It’s super simple and doesn’t require fancy tools or complicated knitting tricks.

Step 1:

Knit 2 stitches.

Step 2:

Slip both stitches back to your left-hand needle, but don’t take your right-hand needle out.

Step 3:

Grab yarn…

Step 4:

…and bring through both stitches.

Step 5:

Knit 1 stitch, and repeat steps 2 to 5
