Garter stitch lace patterns are knitting patterns where the front is worked in a lace pattern and the return row is all knit stitches. Also known as reversible knitting stitch patterns.

Abbreviations:
RS – right side;
WS – wrong side;
K, k – knit on RS, purl on WS;
P, p – purl on WS, knit on RS;incto5 – increase 5 sts from 1 -> knit back, front, back, front, back;
ssk – slip next 2 stitches knitwise one at a time; pass them back onto left-hand needle, then knit through back loops together;
k2tog – knit 2 stitches together;
yo – yarn over;
sk2p – slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit next 2 stitches together, and pass slipped stitch over the k2tog;
7-5 – knit 7 sts together through the back loop and at the same time increase 5 sts of them by alternating knit stitches and yarn overs;
( ) or [ ] – pattern repeat;
st(s) – stitch(es);rep – repeat;

For symmetry, work on a multiple of 5+10+6 stitches. The pattern is given for the main pattern and edge stitches are not included.
Row 1 (RS): k1, yo, k1, ssk, k1, (k2, k2tog, (k1, yo) x 2, k1, ssk, k1), k3, k2tog, yo, k1.
Row 2 and all WS rows: Knit.
