I don’t know about you, but I’m constantly on the lookout for some free knitting patterns for Christmas stockings. Especially at the end of summer, when I’m tired of the heat and ready for fall. I usually use summer slowness to prepare the list of knitted Christmas gifts and fall is the time when I start knitting.
Here is the collection of free knitting patterns for Christmas stockings I kind of liked. Some of them may require you to make an account or leave an email address, but I hope it’s not a problem. Click on the image, and it will take you to the pattern.
Now, enough chit-chat – Christmas is coming…

Thanks Cathy 🙂
I made this Snowman stocking. It is hard. You have to be able to follow a chart and change color. The pattern is 2 sides sewn together so no turning the heel. It turned out beautiful! Everyone wants one now!

Wow, that’s a nice one. Thanks for sharing, Kathy!
My favorite is the Chubby sock. I have made three in previous years and now need to knit a fourth. I cannot find my book and am trying to access the free patter on this site. So far no download has come into my email. Depressed
I love all the stockings. Thank you for these patterns!!! I am excited to make them. I have made a Chevron crochet stocking that turned out beautifully. I am excited to knit some up!!!
Sincerely, Renae
